I build things, photograph things, and pay attention.

I’m Raj, also known as Prudhvi Raj GVS. I design and build digital products, experiences and businesses. I also take things apart, move between cities, and try to understand how the world is put together.

FIELD NOTE / 01The work starts with attention.
01 — The workshop

Real things are rarely clean at the beginning. That is usually where the interesting work is.

I’ve moved around a lot. I think that is why I notice how people and places work.

I’m Raj. I was born in Hyderabad and have studied across Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bikaner and Bangalore. Moving schools was not always planned, but it made me observant. Every place had a different rhythm, set of rules and way of making you find your footing.

I found computers and STEM robotics in class six, kept following that curiosity, and eventually arrived at Kalvium to study Computer Science, AI and Financial Technology. Along the way, building things became the way I made sense of the world: websites, systems, images, machines and ideas that are still becoming clear.

The developer in me is useful. It is not the whole story. I am also interested in how things feel, how people move through a place, why some objects age well, and what makes an idea worth carrying into the real world.

The portfolio is not just what I make.

It is also what I keep looking at, and the places that taught me how to look.

The work has a point of view.

A few products, presences and systems. The selected edit comes first; the complete archive stays open below.

The few I keep turning over.

Four projects. Four screens. Scroll through the work as if you are moving through a machine.

The work is still moving.

Not a résumé timeline. A living snapshot of what has my attention now.

Different disciplines. One way of working.

I’m most useful when the brief needs both a point of view and someone who can carry it through.

Things I’m drawn to.

The work is one part of the story. These are the subjects that keep me observant.

01Workshop / movement / repair

Machines

Motorcycles, robotics and the satisfying honesty of things that have to work in the physical world.

02Light / texture / patience

Images

Photography as a way to slow down, frame a detail and notice what is usually passed over.

03Place / trust / character

Small businesses

The character of places that are built by people, not committees: cafes, studios, workshops and local brands.

04Context / memory / agency

Useful systems

Tools that reduce friction without taking over the person using them. JARVIS is one ongoing attempt.

05Clarity / rhythm / restraint

Good interfaces

The point where an object, screen or space stops asking for attention and starts making the next move obvious.

06Curiosity / distance / return

The in-between

Travel, food, unfamiliar rooms and the small observations that make a place feel specific instead of generic.

A life of changing classrooms, places and points of view.

My path has not been a straight line. It has been a series of moves, resets and small discoveries that taught me how to adapt, pay attention and start again without making a drama out of it.

2023 — now Bangalore

Kalvium / Alliance University

CSE, AI and Financial Technology. Building in public.

Hyderabad to a moving map. I was born in Hyderabad and spent my early school years at Meridian School. After that came short chapters in Chennai and Kolkata, then Gujarat and Rajasthan. In Gujarat, I somehow scored 98 in Gujarati, a language I barely remember now. Repeating a class after a school move was confusing at the time, but it taught me early that progress is not always a straight line.

The first pull toward technology. In Bikaner, at Delhi Public School, a computer teacher and a STEM robotics teacher made technology feel tangible. It was not just something to consume. It was something to understand, take apart and build with. I later returned to Hyderabad and continued at Silver Oaks School.

Finding a home base. At Unicent School, I completed the rest of my schooling through class ten. I went through Ignite for pre-university coaching, learned that proximity does not always mean fit, and completed class twelve at Sri Aadya P.U.

A pause, then Bangalore. After class twelve, I spent four months at home researching what I actually wanted to learn. I am now in my second year at Kalvium, studying Computer Science, AI and Financial Technology, while building Kaisei, JARVIS and a life that keeps crossing between digital work and physical interests.

Currently curious about.

Open questions and living interests that change every few months.

FIELD NOTE / 01Testing

What changes when one person controls the context, the tools and the boundaries?

I’m testing whether a useful AI system can stay close to the person using it: local files, visible sources, fewer mysterious jumps, and enough memory to make the next session start further ahead.

I care less about having the right answer than staying awake to what is actually in front of me.

01Start with the job. If the product does not make something clearer, faster or more possible, the polish is irrelevant.

02Let the medium follow the problem. Sometimes the answer is a website. Sometimes it is a system, a workflow or a business around it.

03Ship in small decisions. Strong work is rarely one breakthrough. It is a sequence of choices that remove friction without removing character.

Have something worth building?

Bring me the problem before you polish the pitch.
